So I wasn’t the biggest Hawkeye fan before…and this didn’t really help to improve that lol (NA #28)

I dunno. Given that they imprisoned him after burning him alive, his only crime being wary and against the X-Men’s (admittedly thus far benevolent) totalitarian take over of Earth…this seems like a perfectly expected response to me.

I don’t think them healing him and saving his life really makes up for it
